Norcross Street Culvert Replacement Project to Begin Feb. 4
The City of Roswell’s Stormwater Utility Division will be replacing a culvert that has separated under Norcross Street in Roswell. The culvert replacement project is expected to begin construction on Feb. 4, with a partial road closure during construction, weather permitting.
The culvert replacement project will be concentrated in the area of 66 Norcross Street, near Josephine Skinner Drive. The area immediately in front of the address will be closed to thru traffic for approximately 14 days to allow the City’s contractor to work efficiently in the area. Roswell City Hall and businesses in the area will still be accessible during this closure. People traveling along Norcross Street can also expect lane closures during business hours throughout construction.
The project will take approximately 60 calendar days and will likely be completed by early April, in time for the first Alive in Roswell event of the year.
