Roswell to Host Historic District Master Plan Open House

The City of Roswell and the City's consultant, Tunnell-Spangler & Associates, Inc. (TSW Design) will host an Open House on Wednesday, Jan. 23, to allow community members to review a draft of the Historic District Master Plan in an informal setting. The plan was drafted by TSW Design and main components of the draft will be available for review and comments from the public.

Community members are invited to drop by Council Chambers at City Hall (38 Hill Street) any time between 7 and 9 p.m. to review the draft and provide input. City staff and TSW Design will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the draft. Visual elements, presentations and 3-D modeling will also be made available to the public.

The Historic District Master Plan is a preservation-focused master plan for Roswell's Historic District that will establish a detailed vision for the district as a sustainable and thriving downtown that protects historic character and resources. The plan will also recommend potential changes to City regulations and standards to support this vision. The City and TSW Design have hosted community charrettes, work sessions and walking tours to capture community input.
