Roswell Launches Open Town Hall

The City of Roswell has launched Open Town Hall, a new online civic engagement platform designed to engage residents and business owners in conversations about important city issues, projects, and services.

Although the City of Roswell uses many traditional and electronic communication tools to connect with the public, Open Town Hall will provide opportunities for direct and enhanced civic participation.

"Our community will be able to have conversations in a secure and civil public space, where information can be shared and collected easily and effectively—thereby increasing community education and government transparency," said Julie Brechbill, Community Relations Manager. "Open Town Hall is an easy way to empower more residents to participate in City decisions from the privacy and convenience of their home, or anywhere."

To launch the new platform, the City of Roswell's first topic/survey will gauge the effectiveness of City of Roswell public communications. All members of the community are encouraged to visit www.roswellgov.com/OpenTownHall to sign up and to respond to that first survey. Doing so will enter you into two separate drawings for two $25 Visa gift cards.

Visit Roswell Open Town Hall to:
  • Create an Account: Select "Sign In" from the bar at the top of the page to register (first visit) or sign in (subsequent visits).
  • Subscribe to Roswell Open Town Hall: Enter your email address and click the "Subscribe" button on the home page to receive updates. You'll get e-mails announcing new topics and the outcome of existing topics.

As with any public comment process, participation in Roswell Open Town Hall is voluntary; city officials will consider input from this forum along with all other channels for participation.
