4. How do I check my City of Roswell email from home?

To check your email from home, use the "Email Login" icon at the top right of the intranet or go to www.roswellgov.com/email

A username/password diologe box will pop up allowing you enter the same user name and password you use to login into your work computer.

1. What is Roswell University?

Roswell University (RU) is an education resource that provides City employees with learning and developmental/training opportunities.

2. Why was Roswell University created?

The purpose of RU is to enhance employee education and skills, contribute to career and leadership development, and improve efficiencies in order to achieve the City’s mission and goals.

3. Who is eligible to participate in Roswell University?

The classes being offered are focused on supervisory and management development. In order to participate, you must currently supervise employees. Future classes will be offered to other City of Roswell employees.

4. What types of classes will RU offer?

Some of the first classes offered will be for supervisors. Other classes (departmental, information technology, policy and procedure, health & wellness, general skills) will be added as the curriculum is developed.

5. How will I know what classes are offered and how I can enroll in them?

Community Relations will be creating a folder on the Intranet dedicated to RU. This folder will include the curriculum, schedule, requirements, registration, etc. Human Resources will also be sending email notifications as new classes become available. Supervisors of employees without email accounts should cover this information with them.
